Red Red is the color of the Root Chakra and also of the element Fire. As a chakra color, it can bring focus to issues of the body, health and meeting basic needs and survival. As a Fire color it is used to create change, action and transformation, and to strengthen the force of will. It can enflame our passions and empower us with courage. It is also good for times when a little bit of anger can do us some good - when a little righteous indignation will get us motivated to make a change. Unsurprisingly, red is also the color of blood magicks, and ancient runic magicians would empower their rune spells with a drop of their own blood. Red is also the color of the Mother aspect of the Goddess.
