 Petroglyphs or Pictoglyphs are drawings scratched, abraded, carved or painted into rocks by the ancient peoples of Earth. This form of rock art is one of the earliest art forms known to man, and is found throught the world from many early civilizations. It is likely that they served religious purposes and and as sympathetic magick, as well as artistic and historical purposes, depicting gods, hunting success, prey animals and more.
