You lie back in the steamy water, your muscles relaxing against its soothing touch. It is soft against your skin, and scented with attar of roses. Rose petals float on the water's surface, colliding with your skin like the kiss of butterflies. You inhale the warm air, fragrant with dragonsblood, rose petals, amber and musk, and energized with the light of the candles ringed around you. Pink for love, white for friendship and one red candle, for a monumental passion. Choosing one perfect crimson rose, you pluck its petals one by one, rubbing them into your skin, and dreaming of the love that is about to find you . . .

It empowers the imagination and brings a sense of refreshing excitement. Love Bath To open yourself to love, use this bath during the waxing moon. In the bath: Incense: Rose, Musk, Amber, Dragonsblood or a combination thereof. Take the phone off the hook, fill up the tub, add the bath ingredients, light the incense and the candles and allow yourself to relax and dream of a perfect love for you.* You can use a piece of rose quartz jewelry instead of a piece of rose quartz - when you're done your bath, dry it off and wear it for a moon's full cycle. (*Note - never use specific names/people when performing love spells, instead focus on who is "right" for you.)
Raspberry Love Honey At the moon's first crescent, take an 8oz jar (or thereabouts) and fill it halfway with raspberries (either fresh or frozen-thawed). Add 3 teaspoons of rose petals and 3 teaspoons of damiana, and a chunk of rose quartz. Pour honey over everything, and cap the jar, empowering it for love and passion. Let it sit on a sunny windowsill till the full moon, so that the herbs can infuse the honey. Strain and use it on toast, to flavor tea, or in . . . other creative ways. (Be aware that damiana will increase the libido.) |
