Class 1 Stirring the Cauldron: Introduction to magickal alchemy
and herbcraft. How elemental and planetary attributes combine to make
magick.
Class 2 Mixing up Some Enchantement: Developing magickal principle
Extracting scent and power through cold and hot process oils.
Shopping List for this class:
A clean glass jar with a good tight lid (a pint or smaller)
A bottle of safflower oil
Leafy or flowery herbs (not roots/seeds) - enough to fill the jar halfway
- your choice of type, based on your homework/research.
Class 3 A Scent to Touch the Gods: Incense from roots to leaves;
beading a necklace of herbal power.
Class 4 Brewing up a Storm: Brews, gem elixirs, and fluid condensers.
Making magickal paper.
Class 5 Kitchen Witchery: The magick in your food. Syrups, jams,
magickal pasta and more.
Class 6 Magick of the Bath: Herbal mixtures to celebrate the
body and soothe the spirit.
Tuition: $60 ($10 per session) or $50 in advance.
Dates: Class 1 begins on Wednesday June 6 th 2001 and runs for 6 weeks.
No class the week of July 4th.
Time: Class runs from 7pm to approximately 9pm
